Jeff Pont, CEO, founded AP Express in 1992. Mr. Pont began the company with one truck, $50 worth of borrowed gas money, no office, no employees, one customer, and a vision to be successfully different.
Today, almost 15 years later, the firm has grown into a multimillion dollar, first class logistics provider.
Champion Transportation, Los Angeles, was purchased in 1999, affording even greater versatility. With AP Express providing the backbone of heavy local freight movement in Southern California, the Champion acquisition was a perfect fit.
Truckload, LTL, local, domestic and international airfreight capabilities, coupled with a 150,000 sq. ft. warehouse, in Santa Fe Springs, allow for customer tailored logistic services. Eight Champion Terminals nationwide provide seamless access anywhere in the U.S.
Fifty-plus employees work out of the Pico Rivera facility. Each employee goes through an extensive training program that prepares him or her to react to the specialized needs of every one of our clients.
